After getting to know each other in Hamburg in April, this yearโs ๐๐ก๐๐ข๐ฃ (๐๐๐ฟ๐ผ๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ป ๐ก๐ฒ๐๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐ธ ๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฎ๐ด๐ฒ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐๐ผ๐ด๐ถ๐๐๐ถ๐ฐ๐ ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ฐ๐ฒ๐๐๐ฒ๐) group headed to Edinburgh for their first visit to our esteemed partner universities. The two-day event at Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University provided valuable insights into key aspects of modern supply chain management, including continuous improvement, performance measurement, digitalization, and the journey towards achieving Net Zero. Our participants benefited from the expertise shared byย Prof. Dr.ย Edward Sweeney, Dr. Helen Mackenzieย and Prof. Dr.ย Alan McKinnon. ย A notable highlight was the visit to the renowned shipping giant #amazon, where participants gained firsthand exposure to logistics processes. Additionally, the group had the opportunity to explore the fascinating world of robotics at The National Robotarium. This visit to Edinburgh was an enriching experience for all involved. As a part of our ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐๐ฒ ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ด๐ฟ๐ฎ๐บ ๐๐ก๐๐ข๐ฃ, this journey continues to offer our participants many more opportunities to learn and explore. There is still much to discover and experience ahead for them. โช๏ธLearn more: https://lnkd.in/eixDKsmP Many thanks to Louisa Osmond and Caitlin Morris for the great organization, as well as to Amazon and the National Robotarium for providing unique opportunities. 11moGreat to see that ENLOP-seminar is still running smoothly and that Heriot-Watt University is still part of this very international logistics seminar. Most likely the best further education in logistics you can find in Europe due to six participating first class universities in six countries.
