  • Meet the Pros: Save the date - December 01, 2023.
  • KLU Sports: Register here for an extraordinary event on November 29, 5:30 PM at KLU featuring a panel discussion on "Champion Mindset – Leadership und Resilienz im Spitzensport". Initially designed for the Hamburg Sports Network and conducted in German, the event welcomes all KLU students and will conclude with snacks and drinks in the KLU lobby.

    • AI Learnathon on November 23: Build a chatbot without coding - hosted at Kühne+Nagel and conducted by KNIME. (KNIME is a analytics platform, free for academic research) Register here.

Christmas Host
Join the "International Christmas Guest" program! The Studierendenwerk Hamburg is seeking hosts from Hamburg and nearby areas to share festive moments with international students. Choose your level of involvement – from a cozy dinner to multiple festive days. Sign up by November 22: Email your registration form to weihnachtsgast@stwhh.de and get to know people from different cultures, and as a host, help overcome any feelings of loneliness and homesickness. Let's make this holiday season unforgettable together!

It is almost time for our international Christmas lunch! Let us celebrate the international spirit of KLU and enjoy the festive season with Christmas specialties from around the globe.

Place: KLU lecture rooms 1 & 2, first floor
You can come by and enjoy the delicious all-you-can-eat buffet for a small fee of 3€ for students and 4€ for faculty & staff, or you can join us as a cook and eat for free! Don´t forget to register either way!

Alumni Career Talks
Thank you for participating in the KLU Alumni Career Talks, which was held on November 3rd. 19 KLU alumni connected with more than 150 current KLU students sharing their professional insights and experience, while using the exclusive opportunity to recruit KLU talent for their company. The event kicked off with speed networking sessions in various 'New Work' environments, followed by a relaxed mix-and-mingle session. We hope you learnt something new from our alumni speakers and just enjoyed being a part of the event! Refinitiv Workspace becomes LSEG Workspace
LSEG Workspace
Looking for detailed company data, ESG data and financial time series? ThenRefinitiv Workspace is the database to use + it also includes Datastream (previously Thomson Reuters). The platform gets re-branded to “LSEG Workspace”. Logins and access to products and services will remain the same. Please note that due to a limited number of licenses, access to this database is primarily intended for KLU researchers and thesis students. Please enquire about access and request an account by contacting the Library at library@klu.org.
Pimp your Browser Part II – Unpaywall
Coffee lecture
On Tuesday 21st November at 12:15 PM our next coffee lecture starts at in the Library/3rd floor. Get a free coffee and sip up about browser add-ons like Unpaywall. Save time, avoid annoying paywalls & pop ups and get an easy access to your articles with just one click! Our coffee lectures happen every second Tuesday and lasts 10-15 minutes. Look out for other topics.
