I’m hosting a session called 'Generative AI in Logistics and SCM'. In it, we’ll discuss and explore scenarios in which AI yields real benefits. Do you have insights and examples from your own experience? Feel free to get in touch.
Along with SAP, my colleagues Kai Hoberg and Rod Franklin asked practitioners: How effective has the implementation of digital tools been in the past ten years? Which technologies shine, which disappoint? Bottom line: Pragmatism, not enthusiasm, prevails. Potential hurdles and how to overcome them.
Alexander Himme asks, is more always better? Why a greater market share leads in part to lower profitability and how digitalization factors in. Sandra Transchel explains why reusable food packaging is having a tough time and has solutions that could work.
To conclude, we take a look at other continents. Imagine calling an ambulance and no one comes – a sad reality in many cities in India and Kenya. Andreas Gernert explored how innovative platforms and more collaboration can help far more people.
