| | Internationally renowned academic and university manager Prof. Dr. Kaplan will be the new president of KLU. The KLU Academic Senate unanimously elected Prof. Kaplan as the new President last week. As of May, he will succeed Prof. Dr. Strothotte, who left KLU at the end of 2022 after serving two terms. Once Prof. Kaplan is in office, Prof. Barrot will step down as Acting President, and continue as Dean of Programs. |

From the 13. - 14th of April ChefTreff hosts the ChefTreff Gipfel 2023 (Handelskammer Hamburg), where 2500 Students, Founders and Young Professionals come together to learn from top personalities from the fields of Finance, Tech, Consulting and Start-ups. |
Past Wednesday, advisupply organized a workshop with consultants in the risk and regulation department of PwC. We worked on risk management cases and got to chat to the PwC consultants about the work they do over some food and drinks at their office in Hamburg. | New Event - Coffee Lectures at the Library!
|
On Tuesday 21st of March our first coffee lecture starts at 12:15pm in the Library. Get a coffee for free and sip up information while learning more about Zotero. This useful software organizes your citations and readings, e. g. for your thesis! Our coffee lectures happen every second Tuesday and lasts 10-15 minutes. Look out for other topics. |

| KLU Basketball Team at Uni-Ball-Cup in Bremen |

|
|
The KLU Basketball Team took 4th place at the Constructor University´s Uni-Ball-Cup, that took place on 18 February in Bremen.
In total, five teams participated in the first edition ever of the tournament.
